The FW Utility box is simple, well built, portable, and very easy to use.
 
At Forty Winks we champion a less is more ethos. We don’t really go for elaborate systems as we believe that a little compromise unlocks the door to versatility. 
 
Manufactured from 12mm Black Hexa Ply our utility box measures 702mm (w) x 418mm (D) x 406mm (H) ensuring it fits under the Forty Winks bed with or without Slideaway in place. Its relatively humble footprint makes it a great addition to any day van set up as it packs quite a punch thanks to its well thought out simple design features.
 
Its an ideal size for accommodating 4x people easily and benefits from having 2x locking fold up shelves located either side of the main body. These are great as they are no only just really handy but also increase the overall workspace. When folded down the are positioned to allow clear access to the cut-out carry handles and tie down straps. On the rear of the utility box, you will find a mega handle bungy cord to help either secure an item to it our secure the box in transit.
 
Inside there is room for mugs, plates, bowls, pots/pans and food. There is even room for a screw-in gas cylinder and the divider in the upper storage section is removable just in case your favourite Tupperware doesn’t quite fit. 
 
4x rubber feet help keep things stationary and the 25mm strap cutouts are ideal for tying it down should you be venturing out further than the local campsite.
 
Lastly, on top there is a further budgie cord for securing a small camping stove. There is also an access hole for the gas pipe to pass through.
